Major General Maikano Steps Up Diplomatic Efforts for African Military Sports Fiesta in Abuja
In a bid to rally support for the upcoming African Military Sports Fiesta, Major General Abdullahi Maikano, President of the African Military Sports Organization (OSMA), has embarked on a diplomatic tour across various African countries.
Maikano’s campaign, which has already taken him to Ghana, aims to secure widespread participation and support for the games, scheduled to hold in Abuja this November. During his visit to Accra, he requested that Ghana host the next OSMA Board of Directors meeting.
The OSMA President’s diplomatic efforts will extend to South Sudan, Burkina Faso, the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Republic of Congo, Gabon, Benin, Togo, and other countries. Maikano emphasized the significance of military sports in fostering unity and cooperation across the continent.
